my first hari raya as a wife

out of study mood today.

i started my day by preparing breakfast to hubby. as i woke up a bit late today, i only managed to prepare garlic toast with nescafe tarik to him. and me, i got nestum for my breakfast. we have a new supplement now, recommended by pharmacist. we ate vitamin C every morning, starting last week. so this is included in the breakfast as well.

then, i boiled water to boil eggs. as tonight, there will be raya celebration for politeknik kota kinabalu level, i have to prepare telur rebus for mee kari. so i boiled 30 eggs. after that, i iron our hari raya attires- purple! talking about hari raya, i realised that i didnt wrote down any entry about my hari raya as a wife right? so, lets do it.

this year, i was celebrating hari raya at my hubby's kampung-melaka. we spent few days there. i also celebrated ramadhan there. and the bazaar at melaka was so meriah. i couldnt hardly breath. soooo many people, so many sellers. so many buyers... and for hari raya, we had rendang itik, kuah lodeh, kuah kacang and ketupat. and no doubt the dishes are spicy. we also visited about 8-10 houses in melaka. all of them are hubby's relatives. and on the 2nd day, we went to arwah ibu mertua's kg in Negeri Sembilan.

we spent a night at negeri sembilan. there, nenek cooked us masak lemak tempoyak, specially requested by hubby. its soooo spicy. and at rumah atuk n nenek, the boys were crazy over karom (i hope i spell it well). along, hubby, am (my bro in law) and antok (along's friends) burns the midnight oils to play karom. besides that, we also visited nenek saudara, the siblings of nenek that has just got back from australia. she lives there and only come back to malaysia to celebrate hari raya. on the third hari raya, we went back to terengganu to spend hari raya at my house. after all the spicy meals, no doubt that i get stomachache. fuhh... but they were delicous! tapi hujan emas di negeri orang, hujan batu di negeri sendiri.. home sweet home.

my one big family.. and i getting bigger

on the way back to terengganu, we stopped at kuantan to berhari raya at ayah cik's house. mak cik prepared lunch+desserts for us. delicous. we also attended ayah cik omar's open house at kijal. in terengganu, we have hari raya photo session at our house. our 1st time completed phote session after ngosh get married. we have kak hanim, najwa n my hubby-added to the family. alhamdulillah. i am happy. we also have nasi dagang, satay and ketupat daun palas. we went back to shah alam on hari raya ke6. we managed to go to mak de da'sopen house in selayang. too bad as we have to missed acik's open house and few weddings as we already back to sabah. sorry fellas. so this hari raya,i celebrated it at many states... terengganu, pahang, negeri sembilan, selangor and melaka. sooo exciting to see the different styles of celebrations.

now, in sabah... i also celebrating hari raya. i cooked kuah lodeh as the previous entry and preparing dishes for my hubby's students. they are planning to come to our hause. i feel like sooo adult now. hehe. and tonight, there will be hari raya celebration peringkat poli. bestnye...

for hari raya aidiladha, insyaAllah we will celebrate it at my father in law aka abah house in lahad datu. abah is from melaka but works here. so, what should i prepare for aidiladha yek- as i am the only woman there.... hmm.

alhamdulillah, my first hari raya experience as a wife is exciting. everybody is so nice and the celebrations were meriah. selamat hari raya!
