cerita-ceritu postgrad life

tepat 1 bulan 2 hari tasha bergelar postgraduate student di uitm shah alam. alhamdulillah. walaupun still blur2 tp i can say that i treasure this moment optimally. hehe...

i attended seminar every weekends, copying notes, attended research enhancement class, i went to other university's library, i read journals, theses, and articles,  i met my supervisors, i met up so many new friends with different background and of course, its a process of me maturing myself.

i only met my supervisor once. i already emailed him 3 times but no responses. i thought he was too busy. but finally i realised that i emailed him at his uitm email which was corrupted. haha. so, i will met him this evening. hehe... finally. all this while, if i mention his name as my supervisor to others, i always got a good response about him. it likes everybody in the faculty knew him and they said he is totally good. alhamdulillah, i hope both of us can work well together..

about friends. all my friends are more senior than me. but it doesnt matter. they treated me evenly, like we are sisters. i have friends from art and design background, mechanical engineering background, Tesl background, architecture background and so much more. plus, they are not just from uitm. some of them from USM, UPM, USIM and MBSA. all these things had opened up my eyes about other field as well. and of course they are totally good. like my USM-chemical-engineering friend and UPM-TESL buddy , they managed to obtain 1st class degree in their field. awesome~

about speakers, alhamdulillah, all the speakers are good and so helpful. they also come out with books that were used in many universities in Malaysia. below are some books that i bought for my references. and the books help me so much. 

above books are written by the speakers of our seminar. i still blur whether to use Qualitative or Quantitative method. but the speaker said, mix-method is not easy, but of course not impossible. as my field is insurance, it is more on qualitative things but as i combined it to some actuarial methods, it becomes quantitative. speaking about this, i will have SPSS class this weekend. dah lama tinggal SPSS, dah lupa... hehe.

 

this is abg jay's book. so i just curi this book from him. hehe. this book is also good but this is not from my speaker. its an overseas book.

lepas ni plan tasha nk lepak2 ngan senior or buat study group kat PhD room. i already got the keys... hehe.. i already got friend to do Library-hopping. sebab nak baca theses punya pasal. yeay. nantikan tasha di library university anda~ ok, thats all for the cerita-ceritu on my PhD life. doakan tasha success and motivated selalu.
